There are a lot of cowboy hats for sale, at all price ranges. I wanted to purchase a serious quality cowboy hat that could become a part of my persona; so I set my sights on cowboy hats of at least 10X felt. Although the price was the highest I ever paid for a hat; they say, "You get what you pay for." Well, I got what I paid for and more; fits just right and looks super, couldn't be happier.
